I used all city bail bonds to help out a family member. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with professional, courteous service. All city was a third of the cost of another bail bond company that I was looking at using first. Des is the gentleman who helped me with the process. He answered all of my questions and helped make a stressful situation a little less stressful. If I ever need to use a bail bondsman again I will definitely use all city bail bonds in Mt. Vernon

Prevent Package Theft This Holiday Season

It's the most wonderful time of the year until your package gets stolen from your car or doorstep. If you are purchasing gifts on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, please consider the following tips that will help you avoid becoming a victim of package theft.

-Do not leave anything in your car when you are shopping. Car prowlers target parking lots on Black Friday and all throughout the holiday season in anticipation of people leaving packages in their cars while shopping.

-If you are having your purchases shipped to your house, sign up for delivery alerts from the shipper.

-If possible, require a signature for all your deliveries. If there's no one home to sign for the package, it won't be left at your home.

-Keep your car and house doors locked at all times.

-Call 911 to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.

Skagit County Sheriff’s Office Halloween Safety

Hard to believe that summer is now officially over and we are talking about Halloween. It is an exciting time for kids and adult during this holiday. Every year kids dress up in their favorite costume and adults are leaving their porch lights on welcoming the young trick or treaters for some candy. The Sheriff’s Office wants all kids and adults to have a safe and fun night of Halloween.

There are some concerns that we have every year for the kids walking around the neighborhoods.
• It is dark when the festivities begin and usually cold.
• Not wearing reflective clothing.
• Not walking in a group keeping track of each other.
• Kids darting in and out of the streets.

Because it is dark when all the kids are out we must use caution when driving around the areas that have high concentrations of kids. Some costumes are dark in color and very hard to see. We recommend that all kids wear either reflective clothing or use glow sticks as part of their costume. Don’t let your kids walk alone, remember it is DARK. Always use caution on what neighborhoods you take your kids trick or treating. You should be familiar with the area yourself before you just pick a random neighborhood. I have always taken my children to the same streets as I am familiar with the people there and know the route. If you drop your kids off on an unknown block and wait for them to come back, they may get turned around and not find their way back to you if they are not familiar with the area.

Glow sticks come in various colors, and make a fun addition to your child’s costume. Be creative and experiment with the glow sticks to make your child very visible. It is fun to have a friendly competition between families to see who can make the coolest glow stick costume.

The brighter your child’s costume is, the safer they will be.

Thank you,
Chief of Field Services
Chad Clark
