To support our community and those serving our country, Sheriff Matt Lutz announced the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office will be taking part in “No Shave November AND December.” Sheriff Lutz is allowing the staff to grow a mustache, goatee, or beard and raise money for two causes; Muskingum County United Way and to our very own Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputy Curt Kelly and his platoon currently deployed in Iraq.

Staff Sergeant Curt Kelly has been in the Army Guard for almost 15 years. Kelly reported for duty last April. Currently, he is serving as a Battle NCO for Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (CRAM) to provide base security.

Deputy Brown joined the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, Corrections Division in 1997. She was transferred to the Patrol Division in 2007. Deputy Brown has been a School Resource Officer for West Muskingum Local School District and Tri-Valley Local School District.
