    Johnson County Sheriff's Office

    On 11-02-2017 at approximately 2350 hours, Johnson County Deputies along with the Johnson County Joint Swat Team consisting of members from the Sheriff's Office, Warrensburg Police Department as well as members from the Johnson County Ambulance District, executed a Search Warrant on the Million Dollar Fantasy Ranch, an Adult Entertainment Club located off of US 50 highway west of Warrensburg.

    As a result of the Search Warrant, six individuals were arrested and are currently being held on 24-hour holds for Patronizing Prostitution, Sexual Misconduct, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

    The identity of the six individuals are not being released until the filing of Official Charges with the Court by the Johnson County Prosecutor Robert Russell.

    This investigation is still on-going. This is a perfect example how different law enforcement agencies work together to get the job done. This operation made a statement to those involved that these type of criminal activities will not be tolerated.

    On Wednesday the Johnson County Narcotic Detectives, Jeff Parsons and Aaron Brown presented a drug awareness presentation to the Kingsville High School.

    The presentation included speaker, Brian Davis, who recorded a video while incarcerated in the Johnson County Jail. Mr. Davis shared his struggles with his drug use and the pain he has caused family and friends because of his addiction. During the recording he asked that the students take a stance against drugs. Mr. Davis spoke how important it is to help a family member or friend who is battling addiction and to seek help for them.

    The second speaker, Shane Lawrence shared his personal story with his drug addiction which started at an early age. Shane told the students his experiences while incarcerated in prison for a period of twelve years. Shane expressed to the students how important it was to surround themselves with good role models. Shane grew up in the Holden area and hopes by sharing his story that he can make a difference in his community.

    The final speaker, Misty Miller shared the experience of losing her brother, Jason Hill to an accidental drug overdose.
