Important Jail Policies and Procedures:
Inmates at the DeSoto County Adult Detention Facility are allowed video visitation. All inmates are allowed two onsite visits per week. Visitation is scheduled in 20 minute slots. All onsite visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance online at / or in person at the visitation department during visitation hours. All visitors must arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled time. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all individuals who request visitation. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed inside the facility. Those aged 12 to 15 must present a legible birth certificate. No personal items will be allowed inside the facility.
The onsite visitation schedule is as follows:
Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 am-10:30 am, 1:00 pm- 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm- 9:00pm.
Family and friends can also schedule remote visits with an inmate any day between the hours of 8am to 10pm.
