Bail and Bondsman
When charged with a crime, an individual is allowed to stay out of jail while awaiting trial if he puts down money with the court as collateral. This collateral is called bail and will be used to guarantee the defendant’s appearance in court once the trial begins. Failure to appear will result in the bail getting revoked and forfeited.
A defendant may not always be able to post bail due to financial concerns. If this is the case, he can still secure his release with the help of a bondsman. A bondsman can act as a surety in exchange for a fee – 10% of the bail amount. This is non-refundable.

Had a relative make some bad decisions, ended up in jail for DUI. Thankfully Hamilton County Bail Bonds - Jim - made getting this person released very smooth. They were friendly, professional, and explained the process in detail. Felt like they give the extra effort to really make a tough situation go smoothly as possible.
